Art Materials ShowsArt materials shows can be very exciting and helpful. If you have never been to one, I encourage you to do so. Not only are there lots of products to handle and purchase, but also new products are demonstrated. You can sit back and watch a professional artist working with new materials. Feeling braver? Then you can book into a workshop and try a new product out for yourself. Just remember, take plenty of money (some stall holders cannot accept credit cards) and a way of carrying all your goodies home (I found a husband to be very helpful!) Art in Actionwww.artinaction.org.uk This event is so much more than an materials show. It is a celebration of the visual arts. It is held in the beautiful location of Waterperry Gardens, Oxfordshire. This stimulating event is well worth visiting. Every visual art imaginable is represented and not just from the UK but internationally also. Artists are demonstrating; people are attending workshops and there is a fantastic materials marquee. This is an event where art manufacturers showcase their products and there are always great bargains to be found!
